Parish Information

Membership
Holy Face Parish is happy to welcome new members to the parish community.  To become a member please pick up a registration form in the church or contact the rectory.  If you are not presently registered we cannot provide you with testimonial letters in connection with sponsorship for the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation or Matrimony.   If you are leaving the Parish, please notify the Rectory Office.
Sacrament of Baptism
New parents must attend our baptism preparation class, which is offered monthly.  Baptism is the first and most important Sacrament, as it introduces us to the Faith. Baptisms are offered on the fourth Sunday of the month at the 11:30 a.m. Mass and immediately following.  Call the Rectory to schedule a baptism and to make arrangements to attend our Baptism Program.
Sacrament of Marriage
Arrangements should be made well in advance of an intended marriage, at least six months and even up to a year prior. Please call the rectory to arrange an appointment with the Pastor. Attendance at the Marriage Preparation Program is also required.
Sick and Hospital Visits
Please let the rectory know if you have a family member who is ill so we may put them on our prayer list.  Inform us if they are in a local hospital so that someone who is on the Parish staff can visit them.
Religious Education
Our School of Religion programs serve all the children in the parish. Weekly classes for Pre-K3 through 8th Grade are held on Sunday in the school from 10:15 AM to 11:20 AM. Two years of classroom instruction is usually required before students begin to study to receive the Sacraments. Adult classes and individualized programs for special students are available. If you would like to volunteer in any way, please call Mrs. Morace.
RCIA
If you or someone you know is interested in learning more about the Catholic faith or in becoming a Catholic, please contact the rectory for details about the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults or contact Rev. Joseph R. Sileo.
Choir
New members are always welcome.  Choir practice is held on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m.   Contact Mr. Robert Mattedi.
